Elizabeth and Amitoj are blind and have no light perception. In this short documentary they demonstrate the process of baking a batch of biscuits – from organizing the equipment and ingredients, measuring, mixing and forming the dough and finally baking a batch of Chocolate Afghans for their Big Biscuit Company. The kitchen environment has been set up for blind users and has braille labels, ease of access and adapted equipment. The methods and techniques used have been specifically taught and adapted for each student to develop their independence.
